What Makes Competitive Edge Different?
Competitive Edge works across four complementary areas of workplace assessment: DISC, Motivators, Emotional Intelligence, and Adaptability Intelligence. Each reveals something different about how people work. Together, they provide a fuller picture of behavior, motivation, emotional functioning, and the ability to respond to change.
Since 1981, we have taught clients how to understand assessment findings and use them effectively. We train and certify coaches, consultants, HR professionals, and organizational leaders to administer and interpret assessments, communicate the results, and apply those insights in their own work with individuals, teams, and organizations.
We also choose assessment tools carefully. Each must meet clear criteria: it should be well researched, professionally supported, and practical enough to use beyond the training room. Our experience includes more than 20 years working with local, state, and federal government agencies, supported by our long-standing SAM.gov registration.
Our role does not end when certification training is complete. We provide the assessment tools, resources, and continuing support certified professionals need to build assessment-based services and serve their clients with confidence.

Founded in 1981 by Judy Suiter, Competitive Edge, Inc. began with a modest $58.38 and a bold vision: to revolutionize human resources training and consulting. Under Judy’s leadership, the company flourished into an internationally recognized authority in behavioral and organizational strategies.
In 2016, Krista Sheets, a seasoned expert in human capital management and a Certified Professional Behavioral and Values Analyst, assumed the role of President. With a background in business administration and extensive experience in managing large teams, Krista brings a wealth of knowledge and a passion for empowering organizations through effective people strategies.
