She has worked with Fortune 500 clients, Wall Street firms, and hundreds of teams in all stages of development to build results-driven solutions. Her companies are highly trusted by Financial Professionals, Government Agencies, and corporations of all sizes. Together they develop team performance strategies to unlock growth potential and fine-tune the intra-team dynamics needed for success.
Growing up in an entrepreneurial family, Krista realized from an early age that people were an organization’s greatest asset. After earning, in just three years, her Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Boston University, she returned to the family business. There she quickly moved up to managing the large workforce and overseeing the multimillion-dollar operation. This leadership experience motivated her to deepen her understanding of the factors that made for successful teams.
Moving to Atlanta, she continued her education, studying Human Capital Management, the DISC behavioral model, and training with Target Training International to become a Certified Professional Behavioral and Values Analyst. With her strong appetite for personal development, Krista has made it a lifelong practice to seek out and train with highly-respected leaders and innovators in the field of employee performance research. This is how she has been able to broaden her expertise and identify valuable new assessments to authoritatively bring the most relevant and actionable tools to meet her clients’ needs in today’s rapidly evolving business climate.
A respected expert in the behavioral and motivational elements that can make or break a team, Krista is part mentor, part team architect. She shows clients how to correctly interpret and apply assessment results to foster organizational best practices that consistently deliver highly-engaged and high-performing teams.
Krista’s expertise has brought her numerous speaking opportunities at human resources and organizational development conferences. She contributes regularly to trade publications with articles and interviews and she co-authored the influential book, “Know Service – 5 Steps to 5-Star Service for Financial Professionals.”
As President of Competitive Edge, Inc., Krista shapes corporate strategy, cultivates partnerships, and serves as the company’s master trainer. Her role involves certifying professionals in the effective use of assessments, transforming them into highly effective trainers themselves. In doing so, she continues to assert the company’s preeminent stature in the field of behavioral and motivational assessments training.
